giganas-backups is a private app used by its owner only, to back up their own home server. It is not offered to anyone else.
The app requests a single Google permission,
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. With it, the app can
see and change only the files it has created itself in the owner's Google
Drive. It cannot read any other file in that Drive, and it requests no
profile, contacts, email or other Google data.
Once a day it uploads backup archives of the owner's home server to one folder in the owner's Drive, and deletes its own archives there once they are older than the retention period. The archives are encrypted before they leave the server.
No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, analytics or training. Nothing is collected about anyone other than the owner.
Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the files already uploaded stay in the owner's Drive.
